On October 4th, 1689, the Foresight, 48, Captain Daniel Jones, Mordaunt, 46, Captain John Tyrrel, and Lively Prize, a sixth-rate, Captain William Tichborne, fell in with a squadron of twelve French men-of-war  to the S.W. of the Scilly Islands; and the Lively Prize was taken.
