DescriptionTRN5 On May 26th 1811, Commander John Toup Nicolas, of the Pilot, 18, found four settees drawn up on the beach midway between Neto and Lipuda, in the gulf of Taranto, and sent in his boats, under Lieutenants Alexander Campbell, and Francis Charles Annesley, to bring them off.
