just read an article in french on the site troisponts.net about him

first black officer of the Royal Navy maybe

end 1775 , pilote of Hms Antelope

1778 , Captain of Punch ( HMS ??)

year 1790 to 1792 , Intelligence Service of the Royal Navy

Resigned from Tartar for asthma , not wanting to go to Zngland , same refuse post in Mediterranea and the Channel for this problem
