There is a book-length biography of Warren, Julian Gwyn, _An Admiral for America: Sir Peter Warren, vice Admiral of the Red, 1703–1752_ (Gainesville: Univ. Press of Florida, 2004), and a study of his personal finances, Julian Gwyn, _The Enterprising Admiral: The Personal Fortune of Admiral Sir Peter Warren)_ (Montreal: McGill-Queen's University Press, 1974). _Admiral for America_ should have correct service assignments and dates.
