David Greenhill was court martialed twice in his career, as per National Archives, Kew.
ADM 1/5254/11, folios 11, 17-18, 21-25. David Greanhill otherwise David Greenhill, Captain HMS Eaglet. Royal Navy Court Martial, 16 November 1693. Crime: Loss of ship. Verdict: guilty. Sentence: Fined 12 months pay and to serve as a volunteer. November 16, 1693. And---ADM 1/5260/166, folios 166-180, 184-186, 189-192. David Greenhill, Captain. HMS Rupert. Royal Navy Court Martial, 6 January 1699. Crime: Several crimes and misdemeanours. Verdict: Acquitted.
