3 Jun 1812 Samuel Hood Linzee captain of Union en route for the Mediterranean from Plymouth stabbed by seaman Andrew Abchurch, Lt James took the ship into Lisbon where Cap Linzee resigned his commission and returned to UK for recuperation on board Sabrina cap A M'kenzie
