Hi, Nicholas Morrish was my GGGGGF, he served in the Royal Marines for 24 years. Glorius First, Camperdown and Copenhagen were the three battles that he was a drummer in. He got married in Edinburgh to a Scottihs lass and was discharged from Scotland. I have no idea of why he was up there, their first two children were both these as well. He and his family moved back to Cornwall where he died in 1851 (Greenwich pensioner). I can share more info if so desired. Cheers James Morrish (Australia)
