The connection of Eliza Baxter as a daughter of Thomas Baillie is in correct. Captain Thomas Baillie had only 1 Daughter Philippa Baillie who married David Devisme, they had 1 child a daughter Elizabeth Sophia De Visme as detailed in Captain Thomas' Baillies's his Last Will and Testament. Thomas Baillies' mother was Susannah Antrobus.
The Eliza Baxter as mentioned is Eliza Baxter Bayley she died in Ohio USA. on her headstone it says daughter of Capt Thos.Bayley RN.
There is a Will for A Captain Thomas Bayley dated 7 April 1821. (National Archives UK)
