Portsmouth: Lieutenant Chilcott of the Grand Falconer cutter, sent into this port a fine cutter privateer of two carriage-guns, a great many small arms, and 30 men, which she captured to the eastward of the Isle of Wight. Also an American, principally laden with flour, bound to France. [Hampshire Chronicle, 6 May 1797]
