Quentin: FYI, you should be aware that the dimensions shown here are entirely incorrect. Specifically, the length on the gundeck ("eslora") is 156 pies, according to Winfield et al, _Spanish Warships in the Age of Sail_, p.173 (it is the most authoritative source yet published); the conversion ratio to English feet is .914, thus the length is 142.58 English feet. This corresponds to the metric length also give, which is 43.47m. The data given here for length would correspond to a VERY LARGE 74-gun ship from the 1780s, NOT a small Spanish 60 from 1723!!!
