Would you know if Jacques Amelot was on the ship Pelican? Are there passenger lists for ships arriving in Canada from France in 1693-4?

Commanders of le Pélican : 25/02/1693, de la Varenne, Capitaine. Then 04/10/1693 : capitaine de frégate Duvignau. 20/11/1694 : capitaine de frégate du Parc + lieutenant de vaisseau André d’Urtubie

July, 1693, battle of Bear Bay in Spitsbergen; French Captain de la Varenne, commander of le Pélican and leader of a squadron of four French war ships (l’ Aigle, le Favory, le Prudent, le Pélican) captured or destroyed at least 26 Dutch whalers. Source: France AN MAR B/4/14 (2) f°522.
