After a total review of the accepted history of this ship a revised history has been posted on the Hazardous Project web site.
Regarding construction, the designer/builder was most likely Pierre Coulomb, a nephew of Laurent Coulomb and certainly not Pierre-Blaise, grand-son of Laurent. Pierre worked under, then replaced Laurent at Lorient ('Lorient sous Louis XIV' by H-F Buffet)
le Hasardeux was captured on 13 Nov 1703 (OS) and not 6.

Wrecked (deliberately ran aground, having dragged her anchors off Isle of Wight) in 1706 in Bracklesham Bay, West Sussex, UK. Wreck site protected under UK's Protection of Wrecks Act as of historic and archaeological importance. Long term and ongoing archaeological investigation by volunteer group (internet search Warship Hazardous Prize to locate project web site). Featured in an episode of Channel 4's Wreck Detectives series.
