The Railleur French privateer, that was sent into Plymouth by the Anson frigate, is one of the most beautiful and compleatly equipped privateers that has been taken during the war: she was only sixty days from the day the keel was laid to the moment of capture; is calculated for very fast sailing, was stored for three months, and was bound on a cruize off the Western Islands: she is pierced for 22 guns, but had only six brass guns, 8-pounders, on board, when captured, 14 of them were thrown over-board during the chace.
