Extract of another letter from Vice-Admiral Sir Hyde Parker, Knt. to Evan Nepean, Esq; dated on board His Majesty's Ship Queen, in Port Royal Harbour, the 1st of January, 1798.

I am to desire you will be pleased to acquaint the Right Honorable the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, that since my letter of the 29th of October, the French Corvette La Republique Triomphante, of 14 guns and 110 men, has been captured by His Majesty's Ships Severn and Pelican.
