Captain Adams , of His Majesty's Ship the Diana, gives an account in his letter of the 29th past , dated in Yarmouth Roads, that the day before, the North Foreland bearing W. by N. distant 8 leagues, he saw a sail in the North East, to which he gave chace, and at half past 6 came up with, and took her .
She proves to be a French Snow Privateer, called the Count de Flandre, belonging to Dunkirk, of 10 carriage guns, and 70 men, commanded by Simon Hermuit of that port, and had taken nothing since, she came from thence.
