His Majesty's Ship the Venus, Captain Harrison and Lark, Captain Shirley, being on a cruize, on the 18 th Instant, took the Duc de Penthievre Privateer, 130 leagues to the Westward of Ushant. She belonged to Bayonne, mounts 14 3 and 4-pounder guns, and had 106 men on board and is send in Plymouth .
