One also finds the ship 'La Revanche' in the archives of Saint-Malo, France. 'La Revanche' with Captain 'Stekew or Stekem' (French writing) sailed from Saint-Malo to Jersey (presumably to Saint-Helier) on the 10th October 1792 taking on board French refugees fleeing the Revolution.
Again it is assumed that this might be the same ship that is 'La Revanche'.
