Admiralty Office, May 31

Captain Barnfley, Commander of His Majesty's Sloop the Dispatch, in his way up the Channel, fell in with and took a French Privateer the 25th Instant, of 8 carriage and 6 swivel guns and 60 men, which he has brought with him into the Downs: And on the 11th Instant retook a Brigantine belonging to Guernsey, which he has also carried in with him and delivered to the owners.
