I think that the packet, was 'Lord Chesterfield", but that I weill check in next days.

Kentish Weekly Post or Canterbury Journal - Friday 15 November 1811

A French paper mentions, that the Lord Chesterfield packet was taken seven leagues off the Casquets, after a fight, in which four Englishmen were severely wounded. This vessel was on Its way froin Weymouth to Guernsey, with dispatches; and was armed with eight guns, having a crew of 15 men. There were, besides, 14 passengers; of whom one was a Colonel, and two Artillery Officers.

The French privateer Lc Genie has also captured the John, Captain Taylor, from Quebec to London, which she carried into Boulogne.
