J'ai retrouvé tes informations moins précises dans "mes campagnes de mer sous louis 14" de Villette-Mursay : escorte + huit marchands aucun nom à part les vaisseaux français

31 mars 1696 : combat du cap finisterre.
3 vaisseaux du roi affrétés pour la guerre de courses croisent un convoi provenant d'Ostende de 7 navires marchands escorté par 1 vaisseau en direction de Cadix pour compléter leur chargement de marchandise et partir ensuite vers la nouvelle Espagne ( Amérique ).

bilan :
4 navires marchands et le vaisseau d'escorte sont capturés.

division française:
70 FORT , 2 rang , lancé 1693, Amiral Marquis de Nesmond.
54 TéMéRAIRE , 3 rang , lancé 1695 , capitaine : ??
50 FOUGUEUX , 3 rang , Capitaine : Chevalier d'Ailly.

escorte espagnole : 1 vaisseau d' Ostende
48 SANTIAGO LAS VICTORIAS armé en course devient : 46 SAINT JACQUES DES VICTOIRE.
les prises sont ramenées à Brest sauf 1 à la Rochelle.

Pertes commerciales alliées : environ 5 Millions de Livres de France.
