We have advice from Brest of the 10th instant, that the Printems [sic], privateer of Marseilles, was lost on the rocks of Cape La Hogue, in endeavouring to escape from and English ship of the line and three frigates, which were in chace of her. The crew were saved. [Exeter Flying Post, 1 September 1780]
