Lord Howe East Indiaman anchors at Quebec, May 8, 1776, carrying "the remainder of 29th Regt." This according to the "Journal of the proceedings at Quebec commencing at the time the British Militia were embodied 17th Septr. 1775 until the blockade was raised 6th May 1776. by Wm. Lindsay, Lieut. B. Militia", Bibliotheque et Archives National de Quebec.
