London, 2 January 1752: Yesterday at a Court of Directors of the India Company, Capt Edwin Carter, of the Chesterfield, and Capt Roger Waring [sic], of the Colchester, took their leaves for their voyages for Coast and Bay. [Kentish Post, 4 January 1752]
