London, 29 January 1802: We have the pleasure to announce the safe arrival in the Downs of the ship Earl St Vincent, Captain Richard Williams, one of the ships licensed by the East India Company last season to bring home rice; she is the fifth vessel which has arrived of the 32 which sailed from hence for grain. Th Earl St Vincent left the Presidency in the mjddle of August. [Hampshire Chronicle, 1 February 1802]
