Actually, Le Chasseur (former Chaser) was taken by Medea, see the 'Becomes' link above.
HMS is an anacronism for this period, ships had no formal prefix unitl the mid 19C, hence threedecks doe not use them.

Chaser was recaptured by Captain Erasmus Gower in HMS Medea on 15 January 1783. Chaser was carrying dispatches from the Marquis de Bussy to Admiral Suffren.
