12 Aug 1807 Danish Frederiksværn 32 sailed for Norway from Elsinor pursued by Defence 74 and Comus 22 cap Heywood even though war had not been declared.
15 Aug 1807 Danish Frederiksværn32 pursued by Defence 74 and Comus 22 cap Heywood Comus was much faster than Defence in the light winds and so outdistanced her. Comus caught Frederiksværn off Marstrand and captured her added as Frederikscoarn
