ADM8-DBStationed "Betweene Dover and Beachy"
ADM8-DBCaptain Richard Hudson, the Dover dogger, Rye. On the 28th when he was cruising between Fairlee and Dungness he met a fly boat whose crew was made up of Dutch and Spanish men. He brought her into Rye. Her cargo is lemons, oranges and Spanish soap, wool and hazel nuts. They claim they were bound for Ostend, but there were several letters for merchants in Holland for the goods in the ship. The papers have been sent up.
