/The Gentleman's Magazine/, Vol. 14, p.265 (May, 1744), in "A List of Ships Taken from, and other Damage done the French by the English," says that the "damage' included, on May 12, 1744, "Three Ships from the Levant [Eastern Mediterranean] taken by the Dursley Galley, Capt. Campion, the Bacchus, Capt. Tyvernor, with the Imperial Anne, Capt. Harman, car[ried] into Leghorn [Livorno, Italy]." I thought this was the 20-gun British sixth rate, but it seems to be a privateer like the Bacchus and Imperial Anne, since the warship never had a captain named Campion, nor a lieutenant by that name who could have been in commmand in May. This is before the warship sailed for England and then was sold to a privateering consortium (separate page on this site), so there must have been a British privateer in the Mediterranean named "Dursley Galley" at the same time as the sixth rate.

Lisbon, 23 June 1722: Three days ago, Mr Lumley, Envoy Extraordinary of the King of Great Britain, ordered Captain Purvis, commander of the Dursley Galley, an English man of war, to make the best of his way to the Groyne, to get, as ’tis said, what information he could concerning the late Duke of Ormond, who was reported to be in or near that Spanish port.
