London, 26 February 1751: By Capt Veal’s ship, lately arrived from Lisbon, we learn, that the Garland man of war having on board the slaves lately redeemed at Tetuan, was gone from hence to Cadiz, in order to take in a great quantity of specie, for the use of the merchants of this city, so that her arrival is hourly expected. [Kentish Post, 2 March 1751]
