There are a few errors here regarding Perseus:
1) The first entry 1768 is an error, Perseus didn't start construction until 1775, probably erroneously added here.
2) Perseus did not capture the privateer Dean in 1781. Winfield was incorrect in stating this. According to the Gazette Dean was captured by Pegasus. (also TNA HCA 32/303/7)
3) Perseus captured Catherine Wilhelmina on the 3rd of Jan 1781. TNA HCA 32/479/7 entry in the description mentions this, but I also have the log entry which I could send an image of to you if you contact me.
4) On the 25th of Dec 1779, Perseus captured the Dutch Snow Vriendchamp. Again I have the log entry for this which I could send you if you contact me.

Additionally Perseus was armed with 8 12pdr carronades at least as of 1782 and likely September 1780. She appears on a list of carronade armed ships which can be found in the NMM archives, though the list is also reproduced in Lavary's Arming and Fitting. However, she most likely first received them at her refit in September 1780 as the account from the sinking of the compte d'avaux describes her as a 26 gun ship. Later log entries in 1781 and 1782 describe the firing of forecastle carronades. On the balance it seems most likely that she received all 8 carronades in 1780, but at the very least she had them in 1782
