Loss of the PlumperTIMES
" ... AMERICAN PAPERS, Halifax, Dec.11th ..... Letters from St John, New Brunswick, of the 6th inst. mention the melancholy loss of His Majesty's brig, Plumper, Lieutenant Bray, at four o'clock in the morning of the 5th instant, on a ledge of rocks near Dipper Harbour. Of those on board, 42 unfortunately perished; and among them all the passengers, and all the officers, excepting a Mr Hall. ..."
