London, 4 November 1751: We hear that Capt Buckle of the Assistance at Plymouth, is appointed to command a squadron of ships to be stationed at Jamaica, to relieve Commodore Townshend, who is returning home for the recovery of his health. [Kentish Post, 6 November 1751]
