Copenhagen, 4 April 1801: The following armed ships and transports were rendered useless in this dreadful battle and our brave sailors found it necessary to leave them:
Provosteen, Capt Lasson; Wagrien, Adj Gen and Capt Risbricht; Jutland, Capt Brandt; Seeland, Capt Harbpoe; Charlotte Amelia, Capt Lieut Koefoed; Holstein, Capt Kroenfeldt; Juddstorreten, Capt Thura; Aggershuus, Capt Lieut Fasting; Rendsburg, Capt Lieut Egede; Ryeburgh, Capt Lieut Rothe; Cronburgh, Lieut Hauch. [Morning Post, 17 April 1801]
